Third: Refund Policy 1. Introduction This policy explains the cases in which refunds may be granted for courses, workshops, and digital services provided through the BitCourses platform, operated by Mntad Software Solutions Establishment. This policy applies while considering any mandatory consumer rights under applicable laws and in line with the nature of digital content and educational services provided via the platform. Jordanian consumer protection principles emphasize clear service terms and proof of purchase, so this policy should be visible before checkout or clearly linked on payment pages. 2. Scope This policy applies to: Recorded courses Live workshops/sessions Bundles and educational offers Any paid service purchased through the platform unless explicitly stated otherwise in the product/offer page 3. General Rule Because BitCourses provides digital content/services that may become accessible immediately after purchase, some purchases may be fully non-refundable once substantial use/access starts, unless otherwise stated in this policy or required by applicable law. 4. Cases Eligible for Refund Request Users may request a refund in the following cases: a) Duplicate Purchase If a charge is made more than once for the same order, or duplicate purchase occurs by mistake, the excess amount may be refunded after verification. b) Material Technical Access Failure If purchase completes but user cannot access the course/service due to a major technical issue attributable to the platform, and the issue is not resolved within a reasonable period after contacting support, full or partial refund may be considered depending on the case. c) Platform Cancellation of Live Workshop/Session If a workshop/live session is canceled by the platform and no suitable alternative is offered (or the user rejects the proposed alternative), the user may request a refund for that service. d) Material Rescheduling of Live Workshop If the workshop time is changed materially and the user cannot attend the new time, refund may be requested before workshop start or within any deadline stated in the notice. 5. Recorded Courses - Recommended Practical Rule For recorded courses, the following practical policy is recommended: Refund may be requested within 7 days from purchase date if all conditions are met: No more than 20% of total course content has been consumed. No completion certificate has been issued. No substantial benefit was used in a way that makes refund unfair. No abuse, fraud, or account-sharing pattern is detected. If consumption exceeds that threshold or substantial use occurred, purchase is deemed non-refundable except exceptional platform-approved or legally required cases. 6. Live Workshops For live workshops/sessions: If user requests refund sufficiently before workshop start (as defined by platform/offer page), request may be accepted under workshop terms. If user attended or materially benefited from workshop, refund may be unavailable except exceptional cases. If workshop includes recording/replay access, it may be treated fully/partly as digital content post-purchase. 7. Bundles and Offers If user purchased a bundle/offer containing multiple courses/services, and refund is accepted, platform may: Deduct value of already-used access, Calculate refund proportionally, or Reject refund if substantial bundle value has been consumed. 8. Orders Paid Using Discounts or Bits If Bits, coupons, or special offers were applied: Only cash-paid portion may be refunded, depending on case. Bits/coupons may be restored (if eligible) according to platform rules/discretion. Exhausted/expired/finalized rewards or benefits tied to canceled purchase may not be restored. 9. Non-Refundable Situations Refund requests are generally not accepted in cases such as: Change of mind after substantial content use Personal failure to complete the course Mismatch with expectations not based on published description Account sharing or platform misuse Fraudulent or unlawful activity Violation of terms and conditions Expiry of refund request window 10. If approved, refund is issued to original payment method where possible. Posting time may vary based on payment provider/bank processing. 12. Refund Policy Abuse Platform may reject refund requests, suspend accounts, or take additional actions where abuse is detected, including: Unusual repeated refund requests Heavy content use followed by refund request Account sharing, fraud, or manipulation Misleading or inaccurate submitted information 13. Priority of Specific Offer Terms If a specific course/workshop sale page contains clearer/specific refund or cancellation terms, that specific text governs within that offer scope unless contrary to law. 14.
